Eric Clapton is a British guitarist, singer and songwriter born on March 30, 1945 in Ripley, England. He is one of the most influential guitarists in the history of rock and blues music. Clapton was a member of several iconic bands, including The Yardbirds, Cream and Derek and the Dominos, before pursuing a prolific solo career. He is famous for songs such as "Layla", "Tears in Heaven" and "Wonderful Tonight". Collaborating with Martin as early as 1995, as two models in this sale also demonstrate, it was only natural that in the years that followed, the artist and the brand decided to renew their collaboration.
