This UTC (Coordinated Universal Time) model was produced by Journe from 2011 to 2018 with a patented system that gives a new visual and technical identity to an already existing complication: the dual time zone, by replacing GMT as the official time, based on the earth's rotation, with international atomic time: UTC (Greenwich Mean Time has been in force since the 19th century and was replaced in 1972 by Coordinated Universal Time). The novelty lies in the sapphire disc, painted with a world map, divided into the 24 time zones of the Earth, which indicates the different time periods linked to the Earth's geographical positions, also specifying summer and winter times.
