DUFY Raoul (1877-1953)

CIJ - RENAULT TOYS - France CARAVAN 1936 This 38 cm long sheet metal model (including drawbar) was sold with the Vivasport from the previous lot. The caravan bears a realistic rear registration (735-RK), corresponding to a number assigned in the Seine department in 1936. Brown in color, simulated stencilled windows on 2 sides, 2 opening doors (those of the Jouets Citroën 10 CV sedan from the same manufacturer!), bolted front spare wheel and rubber tires. Under the chassis, 2 retractable metal rods act as stabilizers. Size: 38 x 14 x 17 cm. Fairly good condition, some paint retouching, restored hinges, original working handles, modified drawbar end.
