Pair of skylights, Dalmatia, I-II centuries A.D. Earthenware and black ceramic. One of them has fractures and restorations. Measurements: 2,5 x 9 x 5,5 cm; 2,5 x 8,5 x 5,5 cm. Pair of skylights made in terracotta The word "lucerna" comes from the Greek "lukno". Its basic function was to give light, but it was also used as a votive and funerary element. The first skylights were made by hand, then by lathe, and from the 3rd century B.C. by mold. One of them presents fracture and restorations.
