Emission de bons de caisse AVEC reproduction au verso des 2 bons de mille et cinq cents livres. Mitered folio. Half modern brown chagrin binding. Spine ribbed, decorated with gilt fleurons. Good condition. According to M. Ryckebusch, the only copy in private hands. Another in the Archives de l'Ile Maurice.

In-4 glazed blond calf, ornate smooth spine, title page in red and green mar., double gilt fillet framing the boards with gilt Phrygian bonnets in spandrels, small central gilt medallion with iron of the Constitution/Declaration des Droits de l'Homme, double fillet on the necks, roulette on the chasses, gilt edges (period binding). With an engraved portrait of Grégoire Pierre Herluison (librarian of the city of Troyes, president of the Société académique de l'Aube, 1759-1811) and an engraved plate of 3 ex-libris of the Herluison family. Small loss at head cap, a few small rubs to spine, a small epidermis to second board, otherwise a fine copy of this revolutionary binding.
