Oriental-style light cavalry saber, straight crosspiece engraved with filets, finished with two fluted olive-shaped knobs, handle with two wooden plates; modern curved blade marked: "Klingenthal"; leather-covered wooden scabbard with two fittings and two flat brass bosses; length 102 cm (Composite). Late 19th and 20th eras. Good condition.

Hungarian-type hussar saber, gilded brass hilt, with one branch decorated with pearls, large straight auricles, crosspiece and cap decorated with fillets, chagrin-covered wooden spindle held by two gilded olives; large, strong curved blade with two hollow sides and three side grooves in the middle, along the back; leather-covered wooden scabbard with three wide brass fittings engraved with gilded fleurons and foliage; length 105.5 cm. (Guard and scabbard fittings gilded; scabbard leather changed). Partly 18th century. Good condition.

Volunteer hunter officer's saber. Leather-covered handle (small traces of insect damage) with watermark. Brass mounting, hilt with one main branch and two secondary branches with horn motif adorned with the Phrygian bonnet. Flat-backed curved blade with gutter (entirely repolished later). Leather scabbard (later) with two brass fittings. A.B.E. circa 1790.

Yatagan-type saber (composite) Handle with pommel in worked brown horn and black horn washers, with long metal ferrule. Antique single-edged blade with two hollow sides, four gutters and flat back, decorated with circles and handwritten inscriptions. With a sheet-metal scabbard with one strap and one ring. Reassembled. Blade length: 40.6 cm - Total length: 57 cm. Wear, dents, welds. ATTACHED: Two African bladed weapons: - a MASAI knife with pink-tinted stitched leather scabbard. - a saber with single-edged blade and back, locked in its ornate leather scabbard. Very fair condition.
