LOS CASTILLO - Mexico Silver bracelet signed Los Castillo Taxco, Mexico, alternating squares of red jasper and onyx. Some chipping and small chips, mainly on the onyx. Safety chain. Dimensions: 19 x 1.6 cm. Gross weight: 50.4 g. Los Castillo is a family adventure between brothers starting in 1939 in Taxco, the same town as Antonio Pineda. They would become the undisputed masters of modernist tableware, having trained at William Spratling's workshop. Launching their own business, they soon had the largest silver workshop in Taxco. A few pieces of their jewelry art exist, this bracelet being the best example.
