Antonio PINEDA (1919 - 2009)*- Mexico Modernist cufflinks in 14k (585 thousandths) yellow gold, each set with a gray/brown star sapphire cabochon, one with a six-pointed asterism, the other much more discreet. Engraved monogram on the mobile part. Antonio Taxco crown hallmark used from 1953. Probably produced in the 1960s. Antonio Pineda was one of the great masters of modernist jewelry in South America between 1950 and 1970. A retrospective of his work was presented in Los Angeles in 2008. Dimensions: 3.7 x 2.3 cm.
