Late 19th-early 20th century lotus-shaped box in 18k (750 thousandths) yellow gold decorated with champlevé enamel on the outside, mainly transparent red "Lal zamin" enamel, transparent green and blue enamel and opaque white enamel. Domed and fluted lid adorned with a point. Hinged lid. The interior is enameled in transparent green and red following the shapes of the object and its petals. From a private collection of a Belgian noble family. Jaipur enamels, Rajasthan. Diameter: 3.9 cm. Height: approx. 3 cm. Gross weight: 28.4 g.
