LEHMANN - Germany (1) "NEW CENTURY CYCLE Ref 345. Mechanical toy in sheet metal, representing a tricycle with two figures on it. The second, at the rear, is holding a parasol decorated with the American "stars and stripes", which identifies it as the 2nd version, released in the early '30s. The spring-loaded, key-wound movement (integral with the toy) triggers the rotation of the parasol, while the driver waves with his hat, which he holds in his articulated right arm. Functional. Dimensions 12.5 x 13.5 cm. Complete, very good overall condition, the 2 parts of the front (steering) wheel are detached. No box.
