The incredible historic APOLLO 13 Mission, which kept the world on the edge of its seat, has just come to a close with the water landing of the Apollo 13 capsule in perfect conditions. The APOLLO 13 capsule was hoisted aboard the aircraft carrier USS IWO JIMA, which on April 17, 1970 became the flagship of Task Force 130, responsible for recovering the Apollo capsules in the Pacific.
