Manufactured in Kokura, and controlled in Nagoya. World War II non-commissioned officer's katana or saber (shin gunto), type 95. Aluminum mounts with brown or gold patina. Hallmarks on ferrule. Blade with two gutters, heel numbered 81575. Handle molded to imitate lacing and stingray skin (not disassembled). Safety spring blade hook. Brown painted scabbard with one strap and one ring, with the same number as the blade. With brown leather strap, submariner style (some cracks). Blade length: 67 cm - Total length: 96.5 cm. Wear, scratches, some oxidation and missing parts, notably to the paint on the handle and scabbard.
