Rikio KOBAYASHI (1952), known as SADANAGA Katana modeled after the World War II officer's saber (shin gunto), type 98. Metal composition mounts in silver-brown, copper or gold. Damascus-type blade with fluted hamon, heel numbered 00118. Signed on the tang. Safety knob. Brown painted scabbard with double strap. Blade length: 67.8 cm - Total length: 104.4 cm. Wear, scratches, some oxidation and small chips, including scabbard ring.
