MICHEL BUFFET (1931-2024) DESIGNER & ROBERT MATHIEU ÉDITEUR B211, black/white variant, the model originally designed in white around [1953] and first presented at the 37th Salon des Artistes Décorateurs, Paris, 1953 Dual-light floor lamp. The V-shaped shaft and legs, each terminating in a circular base, are made of black-lacquered tubular metal. The truncated and perforated cone-shaped reflector in black-lacquered metal. The circular bowl in white-lacquered metal. Circa 1950. Height: 180cm Exhibition: - 37th Salon des Artistes Décorateurs - Grand Palais, Paris, April 28 to June 7, 1953. First presentation of the all-white B211 model, edited by Robert Mathieu, at this event. - Lumières, je pense à vous- Galerie du CCI du Centre Pompidou, Paris, June 3 - August 5, 1985.
