GIO PONTI (1891-1979) & THE RICHARD-GINORI FACTORY IN DOCCIA (FLORENCE) L'Angelo grigio (The Grey Angel) (mod. 1255), the model created in [1930]. Large baluster vase, flattened and resting on a heel. Polychrome glazed ceramic proof; the title decoration on one side and the messenger bird on the other side are treated in shaded gray on a yellow background, the neck and heel also treated gray. Early edition from the 1930s. Signed Gio PONTI, in cursive letters and bearing the crowned GINORI publisher's stamp and number 1255 under the base. Height: 35cm - Width: 30cm.
