JEAN DUNAND (1877-1942) Triangles et pentagones tronqués et imbriqués, our work presented at Galerie Georges Petit, Paris, 1929 Tall obovoid vase; the neck finished with an original silvered profiled hoop. Proof in copper dinanderie, entirely hammer-mounted. The title decoration is formed of reserves in red lacquer and antique green patina on a shaded brown patina background with silver pebble motifs. Complete with its original removable brass interior. Made circa 1928-1929. Restorations, wear and oxidation to patinas. Signed Jean DUNAND and numbered 5502 on the reverse.
