ATTRIBUTED TO SÜE & MARE - LOUIS SÜE (1875-1968) & ANDRÉ MARE (1885-1932) Middle table forming a presentation table in moiré makoré and moiré makoré veneer. The entablature, with its truncated-cornered bowl-shaped top, has a slightly convex waistband, with a central drawer on each side. The four corner feet are slightly arched and facetted, with stylized scrolls at the ends. Original ormolu passementerie-style drawer handles. Height: 73 cm - Length: 98 cm - Width: 62 cm Bibliography and related works: - Mobilier et Décoration - January 1926. A table, very similar to our piece of furniture and featured in a photograph taken in the salon of a shoe store, reproduced on page 19. - Florence Camard - Süe et Mare et la Compagnie des Arts Français - Les Éditions de l'Amateur, Paris, 1993.
