VILMOS ZSOLNAY (1828-1920) IN PECS Molenes Spectacular poly-lobed baluster planter evoking a bulb; the neck features moucharabieh-like openings. Proof in polychrome glazed ceramic with rich iridescent effects; the title decoration treated with eosin in iridescent, moving and filigree reserves. The neck is enameled in metallic violet on the reperced band and finished in iridescence on the rim. Circa 1898. Two small hairs on the collar, a tiny enamel skip around the heel. Signed with the circular stamp in dotted gold with the 5 steeples ZSOLNAY Pécs and the recessed stamp ZSOLNAY Pécs T.JM, bears the numbers 2998-2 and an old label with handwritten inscription with the mentions 2998/302 Fr Gil. on the reverse.
