Marina B. Eagle model. Circa 1985. Dog necklace, also sometimes called a choker, that can be worn with the previous lot, made of 18K yellow and burnished gold, 750/°°°. The necklace is composed of spring-formed wires at the first level, centered by a stylized pear-cut diamond -characteristic of Marina B stones (dim. approx. 7.90 x 9.70 x 5.50 mm)- and surrounded by a row of gemstones (amethyst, peridot, topaz, tourmaline...). From this colorful strand are held large white cultured pearls in a burnished gold setting, a specific patina used for the company's creations and produced in particular for the Duhem workshop in Paris. End-of-strand signature, MB hallmark and reference C1502. Italian hallmarks. Height: 27 mm. Gross weight: 236 g. This model is reproduced on page 77 under reference no. 128 in Madame Viviane Jutheau de Witt's book "Marina B.: L'Art de la joaillerie et son design", published by Skira in 2003. According to the same source, only ten of these necklaces were made, all set with Marina B. stones.
