Odilon REDON (1840 - 1916). "A Woman Clothed in the Sun". Plate from the Apocalypse of Saint John. 1899. Lithograph on chine applied to vellum. Monogrammed in the plate. Very slightly yellowed on recto and verso. Mounting tape around the edges on verso, a few wavy folds. Without frame. (Mellerio 179) 28.3 x 23cm. Sheet: 53 x 41cm. Provenance: Estate of Monsieur Louis Thirion, furniture in the mansion built in 1923 by Gibert et Ogé, which has remained in the family ever since. Expert : Madame Sylvie COLLIGNON.
