PORTUGAL ou BRESIL, XIXème siècle.

Canopy bed, removable, in molded black-veined brown wood with rocaille decoration, openwork backsplash, frame, crowned by a broken pediment with high plume, and four twisted columns with triangular-section knots, resting on four cambered legs finished with scrolls. Carved belts en suite. Steel bottom pull, wooden pivoting latches on the reverse of the backsplash. Modern cream cotton fabric with green and blue bush pattern. 255 x 217 x 162.5 cm. Cracks, chips, accidents, restorations and some missing parts. Backsplash finial to be reattached.
