PORTUGAL ou BRESIL, XIXème siècle
Pair of frame chairs in molded brown-veined blond wood, with high openwork backs featuring a pattern of interlocking lozenges and flames, resting on four arched legs, the front ones finished with foliate scrolls, and joined by an X-shaped brace. Fronts Wicker-framed (?) caned frames, mounted. 107 x 59.5 x 50 cm. Partially reworked. Some cracks, notably in the backrests, and chips, some accidents and old restorations, notably to the legs.
