Small gilt bronze and brass portico clock with tapered columns ending in covered pots, decorated with mollette, resting on a quadripod oval base, decorated en suite. White enameled annular dial, hour markers with Roman numerals for the hours, Arabic numerals for the quarter hours and chemin de fer for the minutes, crowned with a leaf and a pinecone and highlighted by a drapery of pompom trimmings. Mechanical movement with key winding. Brocot blade suspension with attached balance wheel. First third of the 19th century. 35.5 x 21.5 x 9.5 cm. Heavy wear to the gilding, a few stains; some wear and crazing to the dial.
