Description
A silver (950) bowl with cut-out ears decorated with ironwork featuring an oval rosette on an enguirlanded base, topped with clasped leaves surmounted by a shell. The rim is engraved M.G. at a later date. Body and ears with the goldsmith's hallmark of Jean CHABROL, received Master in 1709. Other hallmarks illegible. Weight: 417 g. - 28.2 x 17 x 4.9 cm. Wear, scratches and a few bumps.
