Circular burr and tortoise shell (Chelonioidea spp) planter (pre-Convention), with lid decorated with a miniature depicting the portrait of Madame de Montpeyroux, abbess of Port-Royal de Paris, after Marie Parrocel. 3 x 8 cm. Damage and missing parts. Shell specimens of pre-Convention marine turtle Chelonioidea spp (I/A), prior to June 1, 1947 and therefore in compliance with EC regulation 338/97 of 09/12/1996 art.2-Wmc. In the case of export, it is the responsibility of the purchaser to check with the customs authorities of the country concerned, particularly the United States, prior to any purchase. If the animal is to be exported from the European Union, a CITES re-export permit will be required, at the expense of the future buyer.
