Pair of litron cups and their saucers in soft porcelain, with polychrome and gold decoration in the center of an interlaced monogram under a wreath of roses, TA for one and TC for the other, in a round reserve with a turquoise-blue background bordered by a gold fillet, around which rises a frieze of flowers in foliage, the border decorated with a neoclassical frieze in blue monochrome bordered by blue and gold fillets and gold wolf's teeth. Good overall condition, slight wear to the gold. Manufacture royale de Sèvres, revolutionary period, circa 1789-1792. Marks with two interlaced Ls in blue with date-letters "mm" and "pp" for 1789 and 1792. Marks of painters Théodore BUTEUX (active 1786-1793 and 1795-1821) and Mme Geneviève TAILLANDIER (active 1774-1798). Marks of the gilders Henri-Martin PRÉVOST (active 1757-1797) and Étienne-Henri LE GUAY l'aîné (active 1748-1797). H. 7 (cups) x Diam. 13.5 cm (saucers). Two porcelain cups and two saucers. 1792.
