Important and famous history of Paris, illustrated with 84 plates (views of Paris) out of 85 and 5 historical plans. Missing plate 72. Before developing a prolific literary activity and an eventful political career, Dulaure (1755-1835) trained as an architect and engineer. A good copy from the Delamain and H. Dyke Gautier libraries (heraldic bookplates). Rousseurs. The large map of Paris is torn and detached, but not missing. A small worm gallery has weakened one spine. Binding of the atlas mismatched.
