First edition of this monumental publication on medieval arts: architecture, tapestry, silverware, furniture, miniatures, etc. Our set includes the plate volumes only: - 5 volumes for series 1 to 10, with author's portrait and 402 plates (293 in color) - an Atlas volume with a frontispiece and 107 plates (82 in color). Copy from the library of His Royal Highness the Duke of ORLÉANS, with his armorial seal. Ferdinand-Philippe, eldest son of King Louis-Philippe. Some wear to bindings, more pronounced foxing to some plates.
