Light cavalry saber, year XI model. Basane-covered handle with brass olive (one missing). Brass mounting with remnants of hallmarks, three-prong guard and two shuttle-shaped auricles. Curved blade stamped Krantz et Bick, with flat back engraved "Mfture Impale du Klingenthal Mars 1813". With period mismatched scabbard with three large brass fittings, two leather-covered hollows and splints. A.B.E. (Point resharpened and shortened, repairs to lower part of scabbard). Empire period.
