VERDI Giuseppe (1813 - 1901) MUSICAL MANUSCRIT autograph signed "G. Verdi", Aïda; 1 oblong page in-4 (20.5 x 30 cm) with Verdi's photograph mounted at the head. Beautiful album page for his publisher RICORDI with quotation from the opera Aïda (first performed in Cairo on December 24, 1871, and Milan on December 8, 1872); 5 bars of the famous duet: "O terra addio", the final love duet between Radamès and Aïda at the end of the opera (act IV, scene 2). Verdi noted Aida's vocal line, and the accompaniment on two staves, with the words: "Addio terra, addio valle di pianti sogno di gaudio che in dolor svani".
