OROLOGIO D'APPOGGIO IN LEGNO LACCATO E DORATO, INGHILTERRA A IMITAZIONE NEUCHATEL, 1750 CIRCA
Pendulum with wooden case lacquered in polychrome on black ground and resting on curl feet. Cap-shaped case, with cone-shaped bisant on ridge. Earthenware dial in white enamel with large Roman numerals for hours, Arabic numerals in 5 for minutes, burnished steel hands, finely decorated, large and important machine with anchor escapement, with spindle and chain, hour and quarter chime on two hammers, operable by lanyard placed at right side of case. H. 64 cm, W. 32 cm, D. 14 cm.
