OROLOGIO A TRITTICO IN BRONZO DORATO E MARMO BIANCO, FRANCIA 1880 CIRCA
Elegant triptych revival of the Louis XVI style, consisting of two two-light candelabra and a support pendulum. The candelabra, concealed in the guise of cornucopias, are supported by two small basins, resting on a Carrara marble base. Distributed with the same structure and chromes, the pendulum is developed in a column-like rocco form, supported by mixtilinear plinth. At the side of the machine, a Venus holds a portrait of Louis XVI while Cupid trains a tame little dog, a symbol of fidelity. White enamel dial with Arabic numerals, Louis XVI-style hands, movement with Brocot suspension, hour and half-hour chime on bell.
