Light staining in upper margin of first volume. Paper losses in margins (one restored) on leaf A2 of first volume (without loss of text). Wormholes in margins of very first leaves of second volume. Marginal tear without loss of text on f. I6 of the second volume. Small angular tear missing on f. M3 of 2nd volume. Small scattered wormholes in 2nd volume. Scattered wormholes in the last volume, numerous on the very first and very last leaves. First three parts (of 4) of this important Strasbourg edition of Jean Gerson's theological works, edited by Peter Schott and Johann Geiler von Kaysersberg. Large full-page woodcut, repeated on the verso of each of the three titles, depicting the author as a pilgrim, wearing a shield bearing his arms and followed by a dog, to be compared with the portrait of Gerson attributed to Albrecht Dürer.
