We would like to thank Mme Anne-Cécile Martin of the Association Jean Peské for kindly authenticating this work. He then came under the influence of another avant-garde movement, Neo-Impressionism, particularly the painters Luce and Signac, and the critic Félix Fenéon. Our painting is part of this movement: dotted strokes, synthetic drawing, braising colors, but the softness of the scene is also indebted to the Intimism of the Nabis. of the Nabis.
