Marion LESAGE (1958) The discussion Watercolor, gouache and mixed media on raw paper Signed and dated lower left ML Sight size: 38.7 x 26.5 cm Artist's biography: With a fashion background and the daughter of embroiderer François Lesage, Marion Lesage gleans the supports for her paintings from waste paper, newspapers and cardboard boxes throughout the year. Likewise, the frames are found and left unfinished. Watercolor, gouache, charcoal, pastel and oil techniques are superimposed to give free rein to the transposition of her nomadic life. A painter, sculptor and ceramist, she has collaborated on several occasions with Monoprix.
