Marion LESAGE (1958) Buddhist monk with umbrella 2000 Watercolor, gouache and mixed media on reused raw paper made up of several pieces Signed and dated lower right Sight size: 36x 26.2 cm Framed under glass Artist's biography: With a background in fashion and the daughter of embroiderer François Lesage, Marion Lesage gleans the supports for her paintings throughout the year: waste paper, newspapers and cardboard. Likewise, the frames are found and left unfinished. Watercolor, gouache, charcoal, pastel and oil techniques are superimposed to give free rein to the transposition of her nomadic life.
