Staff or Malacca; China, Qing dynasty, XIX-XX centuries. Carved wood. It has slight flaws. Measurements: 98 x 9 x 7 cm. In the military traditions the baton, known as Malacca cane, is made of Malacca cane (rattan) and owes its name to the port city of Malacca, in present-day Malaysia. It presents minor faults.
