Crucifix with Christ in ivory and cross in ebony, decorative elements in silver. Beautifully executed living Christ carved from a single piece of ivory. Face with imploring eyes, open mouth with visible tongue, wavy locks of hair resting on the shoulders, V-shaped arms, delicately shaped torso, draped perizonium with lateral fall on the right hip, parallel legs and feet juxtaposed on the suppedaneum forming a reliquary. Crucifix with doucine pedestal adorned with the serpent of Genesis, the veil of Saint Veronica, the Instruments of the Passion and garlands.
