Jacques Henri Juillerat (1777-1860), Imperial assault on the Huningue Bridge Festival on the night of November 30, 1796, Death of Colonel Noeslinger during Bonaparte's assault on the fort de l'Isle d'Huningue. This three-and-a-half-month siege of a reputedly minor fortress in Alsace cost the Austrians many men and munitions, and indirectly contributed to the success of the French army in Italy at the siege of Mantua.
