1970 ca. PHOTOGRAPHY: COLITA: LA NOVA CANÇÓ. Set of 53 photographs of 21 x 24 cm (most of them) taken by the photographer Isabel Esteve, better known as 'Colita'. All of them of musicians from the '60s and '70s, such as Joan Manuel Serrat, Guillermina Motta, Ovidi Montllor, Toti Soler, Maria del Mar Bonet, Jaume Sisa, La Trinca, among others. All of them bear the wet stamp on the back 'COLITA FOTOGRAFIA/ BARCELONA'. Important documentary collection of this famous catalan photographer. Isabel Steva, with the artistic name Colita, was born in Barcelona in 1940, and in this city she learned to look through the camera at a society in transformation with protagonists that she knew how to identify and portray. This facet of portraitist is very well captured in the lot that we offer, because through the art of the photographer the protagonists of the 'Nova Cançó' are exposed without artifice, with sincerity and naturalness.
