1622. MANUSCRIPT: (EJECUTORIA-FELIPE IV). LETTER OF NOBILITY IN FAVOR OF RAPHAEL CALDERON, NEIGHBOR OF TORRELAGUNA. Valladolid, April 25, 1622. Manuscript on parchment, minor folio. 58 h. All text framed, with the corresponding rubrics in each h. and at the end. Titles on blue or purple background, in gilt lettering. Original baroque enc. in full leather, with abundant decorations with gilt wheels, fans in the corners, irons of birds and crowned lions, spine with gilt wheels, silk threads, without the lead seal. It has probably lost the first sheet, where the family coat of arms would appear and perhaps a miniature with the king and the petitioners. It has at the end a portrait of a very young Philip IV, who has been on the throne for barely a year. Issued in Valladolid on April 25, 1622, hidalguía of blood in favor and request of Raphael Calderon, son of Joan Calderon, neighbors of the town of Torrelaguna.
