It is very possible that very few copies were printed as a gift from the author's father Rodrigo Manuel Manrique de Lara, Count of Frigiliana, Captain General of the Navy and Army of the Ocean Sea, and Captain General of the Coasts and Armies of Andalusia. Cristobal de Requena was active as a printer in Cadiz from 1688 to 1708, coming from Alcalá de Henares.
