Precious impression of this very rare book of calligraphy and geometry of letters. Virtually all pages are woodcut engravings and the printed text is in italic type. It also contains typefaces of various geometric designs for its construction, alphabets (Greek, Hebrew, Chaldean and Arabic). Considered the only work of calligraphy made by an artist, as Ugo di Carpio was a famous creator of new types for printing, used by the various Venetian presses. This copy is a variant of the first printing, with the same date.
