French work from the first half of the 19th century Pocket watch with hour striking in plain gilt silver 800 thousandths. Case: round (44mm), grooved middle. Dial: gilt chased with floral friezes, Arabic numerals and minute track within white enameled cartouches, blued steel Breguet hands. Movement: mechanical with key winding, openworked and chased cock. With gilt metal key. Socrate" 2nd title hallmark and "Ecrevisse" warranty hallmark for watchmaking, Period 1822-1838. P. Gross: 104.7 g. (As is, revision to be scheduled).
