MINI authentic 1967 MINI Countryman "wood station wagon It's completely true to the original and, unlike many old MINIs, has never been modernized or modified in a more or less haphazard way. Thanks to the care and attention it has received, it runs smoothly and starts right up to the minute, so daily use is perfectly feasible and it can cover any distance. The exterior woodwork has been restored by a carpenter and cabinetmaker, retaining as much of the original wood as possible to preserve the patina of time. The bodywork is in very good condition, but has been deliberately preserved to retain the patina of 57 years. The weak point of older MINIs is that the floorboards have been replaced with original parts. The cockpit and interior are also true to the original, and all the charm of the 60s has been preserved, with all on-board equipment functional. The engine - this is a MINI "850" - starts up and runs perfectly without any noise or smoke, the gear ratios follow on very well, and the brakes have plenty of bite.
