BUDDHA
Bronze gilt Thailand, Ratanakosin Style Dimensions: Height 11 cm Wide 8 cm Depth 3,5 cm Weight: 196 grams Buddha seated in meditation pose with legs crossed and hands resting in each other in his lap. Seated on a three-tiered expansive throne with engraved ornamental decorations and a small tapestry hanging down in the center. Body adorned with elaborate clothing and jewellery, a winged crown on the head. The ushnisha is broken off at the top, details of face missing due to rub off. The statue is hollow.
