SEATED BUDDHA

Bronze Birma 12th century , Pagan Dimensions: Height 11 cm Wide 7 cm Depth 6,5 cm Weight: 439 grams Seated Buddha on a triangle-shaped, waisted base showing the bumispharsa mudra. The Buddha is dressed in a simple robe covering his left chest, he face is smiling in a meditative state with downcast eyes. Elongated earlobes frame the face, a hairline is clearly visible, tiny curls cover head and the ushnisha formed by a diamond.
