PRAYER WHEEL
Leather and metal Tibet , 18th century Dimensions: Height 30 cm , Diameter 11 cm Weight: 258 grams Handle made of wood with metal mount with repousse key fret design. The upper part of the wood handle is decorated with painted black band. The circular body is wrapped with leather fastened tight by a metal clamp with two stone settings and one noose with a string and pendant running through it. The top is decorated with a circular metal piece, the outer edge with alternating extensions representing one or three diamonds, enclosing an ornamental pattern, the center topped with a stupa-shaped finial.
