PORCELAIN DISH WITH CRANES

Porcelain with mark China , 19th century Dimensions: Height 4 cm Wide 24 cm Depth 24 cm Weight: 470 grams Porcelain plate with golden rim, the well decorated with painting of a rugged pine tree on rocky grass. Two red-crowned cranes standing on each side of the tree and two red bats are hovering above the crane. Cranes are a symbol of longevity, immortality, wisdom, the red bat stands for good fortune. The pine tree depicts longevity and endurance.
