HEAD OF A BUDDHA Bronze fire gilt China / Tibet , 16th century Dimensions: Height 5,5 cm Wide 3,5 cm Depth 3,5 cm Weight: 440 grams with base Bronze head of a Buddha attached to a rod on a base. The expression is very calm with downcast eyes and a faint smile on the lips. The urna raises between the arched eyebrows, elongated earlobes frame the elegant face. Small, tiny curls cover the head and ushnisha.
